A mass of Christian burial for Anna M. Yaddow, age 93, of Potsdam, NY will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10am at St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam, NY with Rev. Garry Giroux celebrant. Burial will take place in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Potsdam. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28th from 2-4 and 7-9. Anna passed away on January 25th at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena. Condolences online can be sent @www.garnerfh.com. Contributions in her memrory can be made to the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Anna is survived by two sons Arthur (Betty) Yaddow of Potsdam and Donald (Juanita) Yaddow of Chandler, AZ; a daughter Jane Yaddow of Potsdam; grandchildren Samuel, Melody and Dawnette Yaddow of AZ; Richard and Timothy Villnave of Syracuse, NY; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter Marie Villnave; her husband Clifford Yaddow; sisters Lillian Kellison, Edith Kennedy Pickered and brothers Albert (Leroy), Clifford, Louis and Harold LaClair.
Anna M. Yaddow was born on March 29, 1916 in Brasher Falls, NY to Wilford LaClair and Alice Beaulieu. She was a graduate of Brasher Falls. She married Clifford Yaddow. He died in 1987. She and her husband operated a dairy farm in Stockholm for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Golden Agers Club in Norwood.
